By Car

 

Drivers - you are welcome to park in or in-front of the guesthouse driveway to check-in. Afterwards, there is free, 24 hour parking out front on Division St and the side streets.

Driving North on I-5 from Eugene/California:

Take left lane exit 299B (I-405), stay left and immediately take exit 1A (Naito Pkwy). Turn right onto Naito Pkwy, and another right onto the Hawthorne Bridge. Head over the river to 11th Ave., turn right. Take 11th to Division St. & turn left. We are on the left between 35th Ave. and 35th Place.

Driving South on I-5 from Washington:

Get off at exit 300B (the OMSI exit). Stay left at the fork on the exit ramp. Head straight, following the signs for Belmont St. Take Belmont to 11th Ave, and turn right. Follow 11th until you reach Division St. and turn left. (Genie's Cafe is on the corner - best eggs benedict in town). We are on the left between 35th Ave. and 35th Place.

From the Airport by car or driving in on I-84 from the East:

Exit the airport onto I-205 South. From I-205, get onto I-84 West. Take I-84 to 43rd Avenue (exit 2). Turn left at exit ramp stop-light and go to Cesar E Chavez Blvd (39th Ave). Turn left and continue until you reach Division St. (Tom's Restaurant is on the corner), and take a right. We are located on the right between 35th Place and 35th Ave.

Driving West on Hwy. 26 from Mt. Hood:

After the town of Sandy take Highway 26 into Gresham, then turn right onto NE Hogan, which becomes SE 242nd. Go a few miles and get on I-84 heading West. Take I-84 to 43rd Avenue (exit 2). Turn left at exit ramp stop-light and go to Cesar E Chavez Blvd (39th Ave). Turn left and continue until you reach Division St. (Tom's Restaurant is on the corner), and take a right. We are located on the right between 35th Place and 35th Ave.

Driving East on Hwy. 26 from the Coast:

Just past the tunnel in Portland, take the Downtown exit (center lane), which feeds onto SW Market St. Take Market to Park Ave. & turn left. Go to Madison St. and turn right. Take Madison over the Hawthorne Bridge to 11th Ave., turn right. Take 11th to Division St. & turn left. We are on the left between 35th Ave. and 35th Place.

Bicycles

 

We have bicycle parking in our basement via a side door.  Portland has a bike share: www.biketownpdx.com or rent one from one of the shops.
